Our classes will be held in the greenhouse at Trevenson Moor Garden Centre. These small, personal, classes are limited in size. You will be given a general talk on the basic principles of planting structure and general maintenance to make your baskets bloom. The fee covers all you will need to make your own basket, including the sugar leaf basket, bedding plants, and compost. This will be hands on, so you may wish to bring your own gloves.
With the team on hand to guide you throughout your session, you will be able to pick your plants from our fresh selection.
Sunday classes start at 09:30 & Friday classes start at 16:30, both with tea and coffee served upon arrival. The workshop will allow you the time you need to complete your basket.
If you are new to Trevenson Moor, our green house offers a magical atmosphere, lit by festoon and fairy lights at night. You will be working amongst the plants, however it is an unheated greenhouse so can get very cold in the early mornings and late evenings. At present there is no mains drainage on site, so event toilets will be available. With this in mind our events are most suitable for those who are unlikely to be uncomfortable in the conditions we can offer.
Pre-Payment is essential as spaces are limited. Event bookings are non-refundable, however if due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to attend, the booking value can be transferred to a gift voucher providing 24 hours notice is given via our email or on the below number. If less than 24 hours notice is given, unfortunately we are unable to offer any type of refund.
