George Henry Kern
'George Henry Kern' is a deciduous shrub producing goblet-shaped flowers in early to mid-spring which are very pale pink, flushed with darker purple-pink on the outside.
Probably the most popular and commonly grown deciduous Magnolia variety, Magnolia x soulangeana has very large, tulip shaped white flowers that are flushed purple/pink at the base. The stunning flowers bloom in late spring and are also highly fragrant.
Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem' is an upright magnolia with compact habit bearing rich dark-green, evergreen leaves, beautifully felted beneath in coppery tones. The creamy-white flowers are somewhat smaller than the species but equally fragrant.
